Question: In the single player campaign, is it possible to obtain a 4th set of terminator armour? I read somewhere that it's possible to get one from a random drop, but I suspect that's just someone talking out of their ass. The Last Stand really depends on team play and making the right decisions for each level. Most people just aren't using the right tactics most of the time when playing the game. Did i already mention that this build is boring as hell ? With this build ive beaten the first 19 waves alone ( ok the people dropped at wave 18, the wave 16 would be a bit of a **** alone), just not enough energy for the 20 th. The mid is good to get the enemy all bunched up so the Veil does max dam. At wave 20 though use the Ward straight from the bat, then teleport to one player, doesn't matter which one then port again to the most less populated spawn area and again spam Veil of Tears. When you cant take them out with 6 uses of the Veil of Tears just teleport from one spawn location to the other until the skill recharges. In essence the roles are : 1 Eldar uses teleport and conceal the other 2 spam Veil of Tears.įrom wave 6-7 start in the mid, use conceal when they get out of the gate (you might need to use the Ward or "bubble" as they call it because sometimes when the enemy stands next to you, you will be detected and a well placed blow or 2 is all that is needed to take out one little Eldar) then teleport to the emptiest spawn location and use Veil of Tears, use until there are 2 or 1 enemy left then take him out with bolts or just melee. The first 5-6 waves do what you will, play around with the bolt or just whack everybody (you can use the following tactic from wave 1 but its overkill).
#DAWN OF WAR 2 LAST STAND FULL#
Those give you the abilities of Conceal, Ward, Group Teleport, Veil of Tears, Eldrich Boltįirst things to know are that every wave is met in the middle of the map the second is that the last (last2) creatures of every wave are not killed before all the players have full energy. Weapons : Pistol of the Doomseer, Witchblade of IshaĪccessories : Runes of Deception, Runes of Warding, Runes of the warp Ive been playing the game for two days and ive come up with an unbeatable (and very boring) tactic (they should add 50 more waves, it wouldn't make a difference).ģ Eldars of course with the following gear: If it is beatable by only 2-3 tactics then that's bad design. The point is that it should be possible to beat it with every item/hero combination. If it were easy to get past level 20 there would be no point. There are plenty of strategies that will get you through to the end that don't involve any glitches in the game. I've never seen Last Stand legitimately beaten without abusing some of the terrain exploits or by using that pillar trick to go under the map.īah, it's meant to be difficult. The campaign grows on you and regular MP is fun but good lord, fuck Last Stand. The last wave is so obnoxiously bad that when we saw everything spawn, my friends and I all started laughing and quit out of the game. If your team throws on a couple different item combinations then beating the dopplegangers can be literally impossible or take hours. Last Stand is fucking terrible, you basically have to balance your entire item loadout around the doppleganger rounds and if you screw up at all then you spend 5 minutes kiting mobs around the map so you can run back and rez someone.
